Quality Begins With Verification
At Regenify Aminos, third-party analytical testing is an important part of our commitment to research quality, consistency, and transparency.
More Than a Purity Number
When evaluating peptide testing, it is important to understand what each result actually represents.
Identity testing helps establish what the compound is.
Purity testing evaluates the composition and detectable impurities.
Mass quantity testing determines how much target compound is present.
Heavy metals testing evaluates elemental contamination.
Endotoxin testing evaluates bacterial endotoxin contamination.
Together, these analytical methods can provide a much more complete characterization of research materials than relying on a purity percentage alone.
Mass & Identity Testing
Mass spectrometry is used to help confirm the molecular identity of a compound by evaluating its molecular mass and related characteristics. In simple terms, this testing helps answer an essential question: Is the compound actually what it is represented to be? Identity testing is an important distinction because a high purity result alone does not necessarily establish that the material being analyzed is the intended compound.
Purity Testing
Analytical techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) are commonly used to evaluate the purity profile of peptide materials. HPLC separates the components within a sample, allowing a laboratory to determine how much of the analyzed material corresponds to the primary compound compared with detectable impurities or related substances. This is where the familiar purity percentage commonly shown on peptide Certificates of Analysis originates.
Mass Quantity Testing
Purity and quantity are not the same measurement. A sample may demonstrate a high level of analytical purity while still requiring separate testing to determine how much peptide material is actually present. Mass quantity testing evaluates the amount of the target compound contained within a sample. This provides another important layer of verification beyond identity and purity alone. For example, purity testing can help establish the composition of the material being analyzed, while quantitative testing helps determine how much of that material is actually present.
Heavy Metals Testing
Heavy metals testing screens samples for potentially harmful elemental contaminants that can be introduced through raw materials, manufacturing processes, equipment, or environmental exposure.
Testing may include elements such as:
Lead โข Arsenic โข Cadmium โข Mercury
Monitoring elemental impurities provides additional information regarding the cleanliness and quality of research materials and the processes used to produce them.
Endotoxin Testing
Endotoxins are substances associated primarily with certain bacteria. Their presence is not determined by standard peptide purity testing. For this reason, endotoxin testing is a separate analytical process used to detect and quantify bacterial endotoxin contamination within a sample. A compound can demonstrate excellent chemical purity while still requiring separate evaluation for endotoxins. This is another example of why a single analytical result cannot provide every piece of information about a research compound.
More Than Sending a Sample to a Lab
Third-party testing has become increasingly common throughout the research-use-only industry. But there is an important difference between having a product tested by a laboratory and actually working with one.
Regenify Aminos has built something different with Analytical Formulations, Inc. (AFI) of Dallas, Texas.
This is not simply a laboratory name placed on a website or a facility that receives an occasional sample and
An active, one-on-one scientific collaboration.
Where Concepts Become Research
Regenify and AFI communicate and collaborate on a regular, often weekly basis. Questions, observations and new concepts can move directly between our team and the analytical expertise at AFI. Instead of simply asking, โCan you test this?โ the conversation can become, โHow can we test this better? What else can we measure? What can we learn from it?โ
That relationship gives us the ability to explore analytical possibilities that go well beyond ordering a standard test from a laboratory catalog.
deas can become discussions. Discussions can become analytical methods. Methods can become experiments. And experiments can produce information that moves research forward.
That direct access and collaboration is something we believe remains uncommon within the RUO marketplace.
Rather than simply purchasing laboratory services, Regenify has developed a working relationship with the scientists performing the analytical work.
Built on Relationships, Trust & American Small Business
Regenify was built as a small American business by real people and families. Because of that, we place tremendous value on knowing the people we work with, building relationships face-to-face and earning trust over time.
AFI shares many of those same values.
We believe there is something important about American small businesses working together โ supporting domestic laboratories, research, development and manufacturing whenever possible while building relationships that extend beyond an invoice or purchase order.
For us, Made in America is about more than geography. It represents accountability, accessibility and the ability to know the people standing behind the work.
Real families. Real relationships. Shared values.
Our Partnership With AFI
As Regenify continues to grow, supporting American research, laboratory science, manufacturing and other small businesses will remain an important part of who we are.

Regenify Aminos is proud to partner exclusively with Analytical Formulations, Inc. (AFI), Dallas, Texas, for our analytical testing initiatives and collaborative research and development efforts.
Our relationship with AFI extends beyond Certificates of Analysis.
Together, we explore compounds, formulations, analytical methodologies and new testing concepts with the goal of improving what can be measured, understood and verified in the research environment.
For Regenify, having access to a world-class analytical chemist isn't a logo, a laboratory claim, or a marketing statement.
It's a working relationship.
It's the ability to pick up the phone, discuss an idea directly, challenge assumptions, evaluate possibilities and work together to turn new concepts into real analytical research.
That is the standard of collaboration Regenify wanted from the beginning โ and the relationship we are proud to have built with AFI.
